We have multiple options listed below for your party needs!
For All Parties:
Picnic tables at the shelter are available. Any additional tables and chairs are your responsibility. You may move the tables within the shelter, but we ask that you move them back after your event. The farm has running water for hand washing and drinking water. We have 4 portable toilets, one being handicap accessible. Electricity is available within the shelter and the barns.
A member of Learning Tree Farm staff is present during your event as well. We allow each renter to choose their own caterer and vendors. We DO NOT provide linens or tableware, leaving you free to choose exactly what you want from a vendor of your choice.
Guests are asked to:
Bring their own food, cake, beverages, decorations, garbage bags, etc. Please clean up decorations and remove all trash. Trash must be taken with you; garbage bags are not supplied. Thank you for helping with our Leave No Trace policy.
Guest are welcome to enter designated stalls, pens, or pastures with the animals. Adult supervision is REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES in all areas of the farm.
If no other group is scheduled the day of your party, you may use the shelter for the duration of your event AND continue to use the shelter. If another party is scheduled, we ask that you clean your tables so the next group can set up.
Payment is made via our website once your date is confirmed
We collect a $100 security deposit with the contracts to secure a date. This deposit is in addition to the event payment. The event payment is divided into two payments, with one being due 3 months before the event and the remainder due 1 month prior to the event.
Birthday parties are reserved for two (2) hours in our covered picnic shelter. This time can be extended with prior special arrangements. Each party has one (1) hour with a Learning Tree Farm staff member, touring the barns, meeting the animals and getting to be up close and personal with them! You will also receive a hike through the woods to the tire swing and 30 minutes available before and after for set-up and clean-up. Plus all-day farm admission to explore the farm after the party is over.
Cost: $175 for up to 20 people* for a 2-hour birthday party.
Please note that paid guests include all children over two years of age AND accompanying adults, to total 20 people. If there are more than 20 guests, an added cost of $5 per additional guest is due on the day of the party.
After your farm tour and hike, guests are welcome to re-enter designated stalls, pens, or pastures with the animals. Adult supervision is REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES in all areas of the farm.

After Hour Party Rental
For an after hours farm rental you will have access to the shelter house, animals, and use of the fire ring. This option is perfect for older kids and graudation parties! You have 6 hours for your setup, event, and clean up, starting no earlier than 3pm. You may begin setup at 3pm but be aware that the Farm is still open to visitors until 4pm. Your event must conclude by 10pm regardless of the time it begins. Your rental includes our shelter which has lighting but the parking lot and the paths to it are not lit.
During the peak season, April 1 through October 31, the rate for the Farm for 6 hours is $800.
During the non-peak season, November 1- March 31, the rate for 6 hours is $600.
A refundable deposit is required at time of reservation of $200
Q: What if there is bad weather?
A: With an outdoor activity like the farm, weather can sometimes play a factor in the fun! However, many times weather where you are and at the farm can be different. In case of extreme weather, we will determine if it is safe to have the party. If there are concerns, we will contact you and cancel the party and it can either be rescheduled for no extra fee or your money will be refunded.
Q: What if I have to cancel?
A: If it is more than 24 hours prior to your party, we will gladly provide a refund less a $50 cancellation fee. We regret that we cannot refund for cancellations within 24 hours of your event, but you may reschedule your event for a $50 rescheduling fee.
