Bring the whole family and come experience hands-on education at the farm. From celebrating International Mud Day to creating a meal together from our garden’s produce, our nature-based programming is fun for all ages!

Mini-Mondays
Every Monday at 10:30am there is fun to be found at the Learning Tree Farm for our Preschool-aged friends and their caregivers.
On the 1st & 3rd Mondays of each month, drop-in for a 30-minute story time and songs as part of your regular admission, NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
Then on the 2nd & 4th Mondays each month, be sure to register so you don’t miss out on our 90 minute Club Chickadee programs with games, activities, a craft, and hands-on learning experiences.
We can’t wait to explore, connect & grow with you and your young ones!

Saturday
Family Fun
Our Saturday Family programming offers multiple weekend opportunities for families to participate in the farm activities. Each season will have an event, an educational program, and a guided hike. Our staff provides the opportunity for your family to embrace what makes each season unique as they highlight a special part of the farm. This is a great opportunity for the whole family to experience the farm together.

Club Chickadee
Part of our mini-Mondays, this class for preschoolers and their caregiver meets the second and fourth Monday of the month from 10:30am – noon. Participants will get hands-on as they explore the farm, gardens, our animals and woodlands through stories, songs, activities, games, crafts and more!

Farm School
Children, ages 8-12 years old, will be excited to take their love of the Farm to a whole new level in this series of four Saturday classes. We’re going to get down & dirty and have so much fun as we learn basic animal care and handling, gardening skills and create some lasting projects that keep our farm going strong!
This is a drop-off class with spring, summer & fall sessions. The $110 registration fee covers all 4 classes in a session, a snack for each class & a Farm School t-shirt.

Discovery Series
In this seasonal, four-week, caregiver-and-me class participants will explore the world of child-led learning as they discover the relationships between animals, garden, crops, and woods while forging new friendships.

Storybook Trail
Our Autumn trail is coming soon!
Enjoy a children’s storybook, page by page, as you explore the farm. Trails will be posted for 3-4 weeks with new stories and trails being posted every couple of months. Titles and starting points for each trail will be posted on our social media and on the welcome sign at the Farm. The trail is open to all farm visitors during regular drop-in hours and is included in your admission to the farm. See our “welcome” sign for the location of the trail once it is opened.

Farm Explorers
Calling all 3-11 year olds and their caregivers to join us as we explore the Farm through different themes and hands-on experiences! We’ll meet every Wednesday at the Farm from 10:30am-noon. Register for individual classes OR for a whole session.
