Join us at Learning Tree Farm Mondays 10:30 am – 12 pm April 6 – June 8, 2026 for Club Chickadee!
Club Chickadee is an immersive nature experience at the farm geared towards children 2.5 years and older. You can expect nature play, animal interactions, and themed activities in the barns, gardens, and woods!
Come discover the world of child-led, nature based learning while exploring our Nature Preschool outdoor classroom and Learning Tree Farm! This program is for preschoolers, ages 2 1/2 to 5 years old, and their adult caregivers.
This series of 4 classes will run on Fridays, April 3, 10, 17 & 24 from 9:00 am -10:30 am. Arrival & dismissal for this series is at the LTF Nature Preschool building (3274 S. Union Rd.) just north of the Farm. Registration includes the 1.5 hour program facilitated by a Nature Preschool teacher and admission for participants for the whole day at the Farm.
It is Baby Season at the Farm and we kick it off with our WOOLY WONDERS event. Bring your family out to meet our sheep shearer and learn about wool and watch the sheep get their yearly haircut!
Along with our sheep shearing kids get to make crafts like felted wool soap and pinecone bird feeders and we will have nature-based games and educational materials. We will also have native trees available to take home!
Saturday, May 9th from 10:00 am -12:30 pm. $10/person. Children 2 and under free. Payment will be taken on the day of the event.
