Thank you for scheduling a field trip with Learning Tree Farm. To finalize your registration and secure your chosen date, please submit your deposit online through PayPal by clicking the ‘Pay Now’ button below or mail your deposit to Learning Tree Farm. Your date is not secured until we have received your deposit payment.

 

 

Deposits are $60 per group. Groups will pay the remaining balance on the day of your visit. Cost is $8.00 per student. Please note there is a 15 student minimum for all groups.

Field Trip Policies

What is the price of the tour?

Tour price is $8/child, and each tour has a $120 minimum. Groups are required to provide a $60 deposit online or via check prior to their tour to secure the date. Teachers are always free. Additional parents/chaperones will pay an admission of $8 each.

 

What is included in a tour?

Your day at the farm will start when you meet your personal farm educator who will lead your students  on a farm-life adventure in small groups, which includes:

  • Visiting with our sheep, pigs, ponies, goats, cows, ducks, chickens, and more
  • Discovering what is growing in our teaching garden and tasting a variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, and herbs
  • Hiking in our woods and fields; taking a special trip to the tire swing and observation deck
  • Visiting the Century House – an 1800’s era farmhouse
  • Playing in our newly-expanded nature playscape that includes log balance beams, rocks to jump on, a wooded path to explore as well as rope tunnels, a slackline, and play tractors.
  • Enjoying lunch or a snack in our covered picnic shelter

 

Refunds

Cancellations must be made 14 days in advance of the scheduled program or you will lose your deposit. If possible, deposits may be transferred to another date.

Our programs run rain or shine. If we cancel your program due to severe weather, we will attempt to reschedule a date convenient to both parties.

  • Make sure to bring your own water. The farm does not have drinking fountains
  • Bring your own trash bags and take any trash with you when you leave. Thank you for helping with our Leave No Trace policy.
  • Bring bug spray and sunscreen
  • Old shoes and clothing is highly recommended
  • Dress for the weather, including rain gear and boots when appropriate
