Little Red Hen - Tracking Woodland Animals
Wednesday 31 January 2018, 12:30pm - 02:00pm
Contact Meredith, education@learningtreefarm.org

While many animals migrated or are hibernating for the winter, others are still out and about looking for food.  We will hike our one-mile loop trail (which includes the tire swing and observation deck) to track these woodland animals!

Please note that babies will be more comfortable in carriers as this walk is not stroller accessible.  Be sure to dress for the weather and for being outside for the duration of the program!

  • This series of events is geared for preschoolers (ages 3-5) and a caregiver. Younger siblings are welcome and will be included!
  • This event will include a story, a take-home craft or art project and a snack from the garden.
  • We strive to make these family programs as low cost and accessible as possible for the community. We ask for a $10 admission per family to support the farm's efforts.
  • Registration is encouraged but not required for these events, unless noted.
  • Please dress for the weather.
  • Check our Facebook page for updates and share with your friends!
