Offered for Two Age Levels

Wiggle, Buzz & Moo

For PreK – 2nd grade
Young learners will experience three hands-on stations:
  • Worms – dig for these "garden wigglers" and discover their importance to the soil we use for growing our food.
  • Bees – spend a day in the life of the hive by gathering nectar like a honeybee and playing the "Flower, Flower, Bee" game.
  • Animals – visit our farm animals and learn about their role in the environment.
  • Take a hike through the woods and hayfields.
  • Tour the Century House – an 1800's era farmhouse.
  • Bring your lunch or snack to enjoy In our covered picnic shelter.
Cost: $8 (as of 1-1-17) per student and chaperone. Complimentary Teacher Admission.

Explore the Environment

3rd-6th grade  
A more in-depth exploration of our natural world at three hands-on learning stations:
 
  • Bees – discover the life and work of a honeybee by role-playing and fun facts.
  • Soil and Water – dig to discover what lives below the surface. Soil, decomposition and our impact on the environment will be explored.
  • Animals – visit our farm animals and learn about their role in the environment.
  • Take a hike through the woods and hayfields.
  • Tour the Century House – an 1800's era farmhouse.
  • Bring your lunch or snack to enjoy In our covered picnic shelter.
Cost: $8 (as of 1-1-17) per student and chaperone. Complimentary Teacher Admission.
